Generations of women on Atlanta’s south side of town have been coming to WMC over the years, for Obstetrics and Gynecology care. As a Generalist OB/GYN practice, we offer a wide range of services to our patients, including basic Women’s preventive health care, education, cancer screening, and treatment of female-organ problems. At all the different phases of life, there are female-specific care needs that women need from their gynecologist, and we can help you with almost all of them.
Women’s Preventive Healthcare

Contraception
- Birth control education and pregnancy planning
- Prescription birth control including oral contraceptives, “Minipill”, and NuvaRing
- IUD insertion including Skyla, Mirena, and Paraguard
- Nexplanon
- Laparoscopic Tubal Ligation
- Essure (given the current issues with the Essure device, we are not currently recommending this method)
GYN Specialty Services
- Management and Treatment for abnormal pap smears including Colposcopy and LEEP
- Pre-pregnancy planning and Infertility Counselling
- Management of Abnormal Uterine Bleeding and Pelvic Pain including endometriosis and ovarian cyst treatment
- Management of Vaginal and Vulvar Disorders including unusual discharge, chronic pain, or irritation
- Management of Perimenopause and Menopause Symptoms including help with crazy periods and help making good decisions about Hormone Replacement Therapy
- Help with incontinence and prolapse issues including Pessary placement
GYN Surgery
- Hysterectomy including Traditional Open Surgery, Vaginal, and Minimally Invasive Techniques
